The East Fife Members Centre
National Trust for Scotland

The National Trust for Scotland East Fife Members' Centre is a local support group for NTS properties in East Fife. It provides a social and networking link for NTS members including talks, outings and other events in various Fife venues and provides funds for local National Trust needs.

Founded in the late 1970s, the Centre supports and promotes the National Trust for Scotland, drawing its members largely from eastern areas of Fife. The chief activities of the Centre are published annually in the programme sent to members and copied to NTS Head Office.

Their main concern is with the promotion of knowledge and understanding of buildings, landscapes and articles or objects of historical or national interest, either those managed by the NTS, or by other bodies.

The Centre does this by arranging lectures, Study Days and visits to NTS properties and other places of interest, including gardens. The Centre also raises funds for and on behalf of the NTS, largely as a spin-off from all programmed activities, and from occasional raffles.
